About Ayman M Mukhtar
My name is Ayman Mukhtar, MD, MBBS, DABIM, FRCPC, and I am a hematologist at the UF Health Cancer Center. I received my medical degree in 2008 from King Abdulaziz University in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia. That was before I completed an internal medicine residency at the University of British Columbia in 2015, followed by a hematology residency at the University of Ottawa in 2017. In 2019, I finished an allogenic stem cell transplant fellowship at the University of Toronto.
I am passionate about patient care and strive to alleviate their pain while leaving them with a smile. My goal is to advance the field of stem cell transplantation to help cure patients of cancer.
In my free time, I enjoy spending time with my family, traveling, and playing soccer.
